Land Use Survey Results to be Presented to Public

Learn What Residents Think About Russell

The Russell Township Zoning Commission invites residents to attend a presentation of the final results of the Russell Township Land Use Survey. The survey results will be reviewed on Thursday, June 6th at 7 p.m. in the Russell Town Hall. The thirty minute presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.

Survey results will influence future zoning decisions and the 20 year update to the Russell Township Comprehensive Guide Plan. The Guide Plan will be completed by the Zoning Commission by 2015.

One goal of the Russell Township Board of Trustees is to improve communication with Russell residents. We hope you will take advantage of this service.

Information will now be distributed by e-mail. Two newsletter subscriptions are available. One newsletter will be distributed at regular intervals and will include news items relevant to the regular activities of the Township.

The second newsletter will be sent out when the need arises for dissemination of time sensitive, critical information. This newsletter may report road closures or update residents on local crises.

Pond Workshop

An informative and FREE Pond Program is offered on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 6:00-8:30 pm by the Geauga and Portage Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs) and the Portage County Master Gardeners. The program will be held at Camp Asbury, 10776 Asbury Road, Hiram, Ohio 44234. It is critical that the lease language protects your interests.
